JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Studies, crime and addiction programs, as well as work in laundry, carpentry, printing, and assembly are examples of activities in our ambition to assist inmates in achieving better outcomes.

In this position as a production leader, you will lead and participate in the development of operations within the laundry area. You will be responsible for leading and distributing the work of the inmates and ensuring that planned production goals are met. You will also participate in customer contacts, work procurement, and preparation/planning. You may also need to step in as a production leader in other areas if the need arises.

Furthermore, you will contribute to maintaining safety and ensuring that safety regulations regarding machines and other workplace safety regulations are followed. You will be involved in the daily work and show and instruct the inmates in both work tasks and behavior, attitudes, and values. The position does not involve personnel responsibility, only work leadership of the inmates.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are clear in your communication and enjoy both collaborating in a group and working independently. As a person, you are flexible, resilient, and proactive. You have a positive view of people, good empathetic ability, and can handle conflicts constructively.

Through your pedagogical experience, you have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and the different conditions of individuals. You can adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient and situation. You are calm, stable, and clear in your communication and ensure that information reaches all relevant parties.

You have good judgment and the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. The position also requires that you have a physical ability that allows you to act physically when the situation demands.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

To apply for this position, you need to have:

• Completed upper secondary school qualifications in the form of a final grade or upper secondary diploma, or other education combined with work experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.
• Driving license B.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Work experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in laundry operations.
• Experience in pedagogical work.
• Experience in motivational work.
• Work experience in corrections, security work, social care, psychiatry, or healthcare and social services.
